Plan a winter snowflake activity for 30 students

Super Shapes Snowflake contains 25 white sulphite paper snowflakes per package. For one snowflake per student in a class of 30, order two packages for 50 shapes, leaving 20 extras. Students can paint or decorate their shapes and add collage materials. Paint, collage materials, brushes, and adhesives are separate supplies unless the individual product listing says otherwise. Review the materials and supervision needed for your students.

Compare winter classroom activities for 30 or 120 students

These calculations assume packs are shared across classrooms. For separate unopened classroom packs, calculate each room’s needs first and add the pack quantities. The fabric-pattern product is craft paper, rather than fabric. Its listing includes a resource guide; the collage suggestion below is a classroom planning idea, not a claim that the pack is a complete project kit.

Prepare a winter pattern collage

Choose a shape that fits your winter classroom plans, such as a mitten or scarf outline. Prepare one backing sheet per student from paper you already have or add backing paper to your supply list.
Allow two sheets of patterned craft paper per student. For students who need help with cutting, have an adult prepare suitable paper shapes before class; choose tools and adhesive appropriate to the product labels and your students.
Invite students to arrange the paper pieces into a repeating pattern and attach them to the backing. Provide crayons or markers if students will add details. These materials are separate.
Let any adhesive dry before displaying or sending the work home. Count the backing sheets, decorating materials, adhesive, and any tools needed before requesting a quote.

To estimate a class budget, total the whole packs and extra supplies you need to buy, add shipping and applicable tax, then divide by the number of students. Use the current product prices or a reviewed CM quote. Ask CM to confirm stock and the required delivery date; a classroom idea does not guarantee a fixed cost or completion time.

Prepare a holiday classroom activity supply list

Choose a winter or holiday theme that fits your school’s plans and the students’ ages.
Count finished projects: students multiplied by projects per student. Divide by the projects or usable shapes per pack, then round up.
Check tools, adhesive, decorating materials, drying space, and adult preparation. Do not assume a kit includes everything.
List item numbers and pack quantities by classroom. Include extra materials for demonstrations or replacements if needed.

Run a decorate-a-snowflake activity with supplies you already have

This is a suggested classroom activity using the paper shapes above, rather than a prepacked complete kit.

Before class, count out one paper snowflake per student and keep extras for demonstrations. Set out age-appropriate crayons or markers already available in your classroom; add collage materials only if you have suitable adhesive and time for drying.
Invite each student to decorate a snowflake with a pattern. Students can describe their repeated shapes or colors and add their names.
Let any wet materials dry, then arrange the finished shapes as a winter class display or send them home. Choose the theme and materials to fit your students and school plans.

Estimate the cost per student before ordering

For 30 students making one paper snowflake each, your starting list is two packs of 25 Super Shapes Snowflakes. Add only the decorating supplies your classroom needs to buy. Calculate each line as pack quantity multiplied by the current pack price; add shipping and applicable tax, then divide the total by 30. Count the cost of whole packs purchased, including leftover shapes. Materials already on hand can reduce the new purchases needed.

Choose a winter activity by age label and preparation needs

Start with each product’s stated age range and warnings, then consider the steps your students can complete and the help available. A preschool or elementary class label alone does not establish that every item is suitable.
