School quotes, purchase orders, and local pickup
Can I request a school quote before I have a PO number?
Yes. Use Quick Order or the cart quote instructions to request pricing before your school issues a PO. Include item numbers, quantities, school name, delivery address, and required date. Leave the optional PO number blank if it has not been issued.
How long are written quotes valid, and when will CM respond?
CM’s written quotes are valid for 30 days. Submitting a cart or Quick Order quote request does not instantly create a staff-reviewed official quote. The automatic confirmation, quote number and any request PDF record your request for review. Staff review and response is within 24 hours, Monday–Friday, separate from automatic request confirmation. Ask CM to confirm availability, shipping, applicable tax, and delivery timing.
What do schools need to order with a purchase order?
School POs require an approved CM business account and have a $25 minimum. Quote requests and PO orders are separate steps. Account and payment terms require approval; tax-exempt ordering requires verification. Read the school purchase-order guide for submission details.
Where can our school get CM’s W-9 and credit application?
Download CM School Supply’s W-9 PDF and the institutional credit application PDF. For the preparation checklist and account instructions, see the school account and vendor document guide. Keep CM’s W-9 for your purchasing office’s vendor records. Send your completed credit application to accounting@cmschoolsupply.com. CM confirms account and credit terms within 1–2 business days. PO ordering requires approval; a website login or document download alone does not approve payment terms or tax exemption.
Can we request pricing while our school account is being reviewed?
Yes. Prepare a list in Quick Order or use the cart quote route while your application is reviewed. Leave the optional PO number blank if it has not been issued. Staff quote response is within 24 hours, Monday–Friday, and written quotes are valid for 30 days. This quote-response window is separate from the 1–2 business day account-review window. A quote request is not an order or credit approval.
Where can I confirm local pickup for a school order?
Check the pickup options shown for your order and our store locations and hours. For a class quantity or event deadline, call (951) 689-6400 to confirm store availability and pickup timing before traveling.
School holiday gifts and classroom activities
Where can schools buy holiday gifts for teachers and staff?
CM School Supply offers classroom supplies and digital gift cards for teacher and staff gifts. Digital CM gift cards redeem directly at online checkout or in store; staff processing is not required for digital-card online redemption. Older physical CM gift cards must first be converted to digital for online use; contact CM for conversion help. Compare recipient options and school gift-budget examples in our teacher and staff holiday gift guide.
For school-funded merchandise, request a quote before issuing a PO. Staff review and response is within 24 hours, Monday–Friday; written quotes are valid for 30 days. PO ordering requires an approved CM business account and a $25 minimum. Contact CM to confirm payment and delivery arrangements for gift cards separately; do not assume ordinary merchandise PO terms apply to gift cards.
How can I plan a winter classroom craft activity for 30 students?
Use our winter classroom activity and budget guide to count packs, separate included supplies from extras, and prepare a school quote list. The guide includes a paper-snowflake activity: two packs of 25 shapes provide one shape for each of 30 students, with 20 extras. Decorating materials are separate. Check product age labels, current contents, availability, and your school’s activity requirements.
Can Riverside teachers shop locally for gifts and classroom activities?
Visit CM’s Riverside store at 4155 Van Buren Boulevard, or review pickup options for your order. Call (951) 689-6400 to confirm products, class quantities, and timing before traveling. See our current locations and hours; the former Anaheim store is permanently closed.
